The 1980′s marked the birth of New Wave music and the reintroduction of skinny ties twenty years after they reached their height of popularity during the Rat Pack era.
My quick read entitled 1980′s New Wave Music and the Skinny Tie talks about the two, leading up the what most of us really remember – 80′s bands wearing cool looking skinny neckwear!
It is hard to think about this decade without making mention of the type of music bands and the clothes and accessories they wore. They are the epitome of the 80′s as we know it.
